Approach:
My goal in counseling is to create a safe relationship with my clients that allows them to explore new ways of relating to themselves and others. I view problems systemically and consider the client’s environment and relationships in order to best understand how to help them resolve their issues.
Credentials:
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Pam Cosart, M.A., LPC-S. I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Master of Art in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have counseling experience with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families and have received training in play therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Gottman Method, Prepare/Enrich, and Anger Management.
Interest:
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 3 children. I am an avid reader, life-long learner, and enjoy learning new languages. On the weekends you may find me swimming, gardening, reading, and spending time with friends.
