Peace is Every Step: The Path of Mindfulness in Everyday Life, by Thich Nhat Hanh. This book, written by a Buddhist monk, is a great source of ideas and inspiration for developing peace in your daily life.
The Secret Language of Eating Disorders, by Peggy Claude-Pierre.  Peggy Claude-Pierre's daughters suffered from eating disorders.  She became a psychotherapist, and eventually opened the world famous Montreaux Clinic.  This book chronicles what she learned at every step along the way!
The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work, by John Gottman, Ph.D.  A really practical book based on scientific studies about what makes marriages work.  Contains lots of worksheets, exercises, etc.
Tao Te Ching, by Lao Tzu. A classic - teaching timeless lessons for living. A great source of tranquility. Written in short chapters for reading & contemplation. The Feng & English translation is a favorite.
Who Moved my Cheese?, by Spencer Johnson, M.D.
The Divorce Remedy, by Michele Weiner-Davis.  The author specializes in saving marriages - even those that seem hopeless.
The Sex-Starved Marriage, by Michele Weiner-Davis.  This marriage-saving specialist discusses what to do when someone isn't satisfied with their sexual relationship.
